Red Stitch Winemaker Dinner
Thursday, March 12 | 5 - 8 pm

Join us this March for an intimate Mayacama Winemaker Dinner showcasing the expressive, site-driven wines of Red Stitch, a winery born from friendship, shared passions, and a genuine love of wine. Red Stitch was founded by longtime friends Rich and Amy Aurilia, David and Tricia Roberts, and John and Noelle Micek, each bringing unique perspectives and deep enthusiasm to the venture.

Rich Aurilia enjoyed a 15-year Major League Baseball career, including standout seasons with the San Francisco Giants. David Roberts, best known for “The Steal of the Century” in the 2004 ALCS, went on to a decade in the Majors and later became Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Tricia Roberts is a Certified Specialist of Wine, while John and Noelle Micek bring a lifelong passion for wine along with viticulture studies from UC Davis.

Red Stitch’s name pays homage to baseball’s iconic red seams—a subtle nod to the game that helped forge these friendships. Today, that same sense of teamwork and dedication carries through to the vineyard and cellar. The winery works closely with winemaker Rolando Herrera, whose distinguished career includes years as Cellar Master at Stags’ Leap Wine Cellars and Director of Winemaking at Paul Hobbs Consulting, bringing decades of experience and a thoughtful approach to every bottling.

Mayacama Executive Chef Matt Enjaian will present a bespoke multi-course menu crafted exclusively for this evening’s pairings. Drawing inspiration from the bounty of Wine Country and a refined yet approachable culinary style, Chef Matt’s dishes will be designed to highlight both harmony and contrast with the wines of Red Stitch.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy insights from the Red Stitch team on their winemaking philosophy, vineyard sources, and the stories behind each wine. Together, the wines and cuisine will offer an elegant expression of Sonoma County’s character, shared in the warm and welcoming setting of Mayacama.
