Prophet & Poet Winemaker Dinner
Thursday, April 17 | 6 - 9pm

Join us for our next Mayacama Winemaker Dinner, featuring the Inagural Release of Prophet & Poet, the newest project from our own Vintner members, Jesse Katz and Chris Jackson. The wines were crafted by Jesse Katz, the winemaker behind labels we know and love, Aperture Cellars and Devil Proof, and blended in collaboration with Chris Jackson, proprietor of Jackson Family Wines.

Using hand-selected fruit from the Jackson Families’ most storied and sought-after vineyards, whose pedigree includes award-winning wines made by Peter Michael, Marcassin, Vérité and Stonestreet, and made in Katz’ state-of-the-art Aperture winemaking facility, Katz and Jackson have expanded on a legacy of fine wine reimagined for the next generation.

Jesse Katz will be on-hand to share the story behind this venture—one that started as a one-of-a-kind, single barrel of custom wine as a wedding gift and has become a journey of sharing Prophet & Poet with the world in partnership with the Biel-Timberlake family. As always, Mayacama Executive Chef Matt Enjaian will curate an unforgettable menu to enjoy alongside an expertly paired flight of wines from this inaugural vintage.
