Mayacama is thrilled to share that both tennis courts will be undergoing resurfacing to further enhance the playing experience for our Members. This project will improve the quality, safety, and long-term durability of the courts, ensuring they remain at the standard of excellence you expect at Mayacama.
- To complete the work, both the upper and lower courts will be closed on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26.
- The upper court will reopen on Wednesday, August 27.
- The lower court is receiving a full resurfacing, and will reopen approximately Monday, September 29.
The work on the lower court is particularly important, as several areas have developed significant surface cracks over time. These issues require a more comprehensive approach to properly address the underlying surface and ensure lasting durability. While this process is more time-intensive, it represents an exciting investment in the long-term quality of the facility and in the overall Member experience. By completing this work now, we are ensuring that the courts remain safe, functional, and enjoyable for years to come.
These repairs are necessary to maintain the high standards of our facilities. During this time, the lower tennis court will be considered a construction area. The upper court will have modified availability with an emphasis to accommodate those Members who wish to receive lessons at the Club. While we understand this may create an inconvenience over the next six weeks, we are proud to enhance the quality of play, safety, and overall enjoyment of tennis at Mayacama, ensuring that Members continue to experience the very best each time they step onto the court.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this period of improvement and look forward to welcoming you back onto beautifully resurfaced courts very soon! |
