Dear Mayacama Vintners,
Enclosed is an overview of the Mayacama Terraces Inn located in downtown Healdsburg at 330 Center Street,120’ from the town square.
As described in the overview, the Mayacama Vintners have supported the Wilhelm Family for over 20 years which has provided the club with a unique “Cache” that has created a special and distinct reputation and culture for Mayacama in the world of top private clubs.
I would like to return your support by offering the “first” opportunity to participate in the ownership of the Mayacama Inn as partners with the club. It has occurred to me that the Inn might be very appealing as an affordable substitute for a wine tasting facility in downtown Healdsburg that would also provide luxury accommodations in a premier location for your most important customers.
As mentioned in the rental strategy, a key component of the marketing program for the Inn targets the top 50 private golf clubs in the US, along with the major corporations in the Bay Area. Another component of the plan is to invite the sommeliers of the clubs to the Inn to experience the Mayacama Vintners wines and club facilities. After the tastings by the sommeliers and club members, it would seem reasonable that the wines will become part of the the clubs’ wine programs, as well as a high percentage of club members likely joining your wine clubs.
The collective number of affluent members at the top 50 clubs exceed 20,000, 40,000 if spouses are included. The combination of great golf, along with private wine tastings with winery owners and vintners will create a personal connection that is expected to be very appealing to the clubs and their members. It is my hope that the exposure to this large affluent audience will result in a substantial increase in wine sales for the Mayacama vintners.
As you review the financials on Exhibit B, the financial returns on an investment in the Mayacama Inn are attractive. Please let me know if you would like to meet and discuss the opportunity at your earliest convenience.
