first friday pour: MALBEC MADNESS
Friday, March 6
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Malbec has a short history in California. It was originally planted as a blending grape for our Cabernets and blends but forward looking vintners began producing some outstanding California Malbec. Because of our short history and only a handful of single-varietal bottlings, it is difficult to know how it will age over the medium to long term. However, the results so far show promise. People are always surprised when they taste Malbec from California because of the structure, the acidity, the minerality, and the intensity of this bright fruit. Join us to explore Malbec from both Argentina and California.

We'll start off the night with dinner but move swiftly into the search for the leprechauns and their pot of gold before they disappear for another year. After we find the gold it's time to enjoy some Battle Tracks with our favorite Lego engineering team. Build your car and race it down the track against an opponent to see whose car will survive the battle. After some epic battles we'll finish up with Leprechaun games. Don't forget to wear green or you might get pinched!

Golf Tip: Swing Fault & Correction Drill
by Andrew Black

BUNKER RENOVATION RELIEF PROCEDURES
During the process, entire bunkers on a particular hole will be out of play and designated as “Ground Under Repair” and will require mandatory relief from the construction area. A player must take relief (without penalty) from the condition by dropping the ball in the nearest area marked “Drop Zone”. When dropped, the ball must strike a part of the course within the Drop Zone area. The ball must be redropped if it rolls and comes to rest more than two club lengths from where it first struck the ground in the drop zone. However, a ball that first strikes a part of the course within the prescribed Drop Zone and comes to rest outside the Drop Zone may be played provided it has not rolled more than two club lengths from where it first struck the course within the Drop Zone.

BALL NOT FOUND
It is a question of fact whether a ball that has not been found after having been struck toward an abnormal ground condition is in such condition. In order to apply this rule, it must be known or virtually certain that the ball is in the abnormal ground condition (ground under repair). In the absence of such knowledge or certainty, the player must proceed under Rule 27-1 (Stroke and Distance; Lost Ball).
