Labor Day festivities

Let's get together and savor the end of Summer with a weekend full of exciting activities and food! The holiday weekend kicks off with our Sip N' Swing on Friday, and on Saturday evening, our End of Summer Feast at the Clubhouse, buffet-style featuring Chef Scott Pikey's grilled favorites including king salmon, brisket and his famous sweet-tea brined fried chicken!

Initially we only had one BBQ planned for Sunday, September 2, but we have added another BBQ on Monday, September 3 to keep the good times rolling into Labor Day and make full-use of the long weekend! Take a look below at the menus.

Additionally, this is the first event weekend with our new Activities Coordinator, Dawn Quinn and she has some awesome activities planned for the kids, and adults as well! Make sure you attend the BBQ's and participate in some fun new events and get to know Dawn! Activities include:

  • Noodle-jousting on crocodiles
  • Ping pong ball scramble
  • Crack the melon
  • Pirate ship relays - kids vs. adults
  • Make your own pirate snacks
  • Water balloons
  • Bubbles
  • Giant slip n' slide
  • Toddler area with games
  • ...and more!



SIP N' SWING & DINNER
Friday, August 31
4:00 - 8:30PM

Join us for this fun, casual golf event which is open to Social Members and guests too. Our Sip N' Swing event begins with a 4:00pm shotgun start, followed by a dinner buffet on the Dining Room Terrace. The format for this event is a six-person, 9-hole scramble. Make your own team of six or sign up individually and we will pair you with a group. Participants will enjoy a specialty cocktail and sip summer wines on some of the holes. Even if you aren't able to play in the Sip N' Swing, make plans to meet up with the players and enjoy a fun dinner with your fellow Members.

JUNIOR TENNIS CLINIC
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
10:30 - 11:15AM

Game. Set. Match! Sign up your child for a Junior Tennis Clinic from Mayacama Tennis Pro Luke Chiurco on Saturday and spend a leisurely day at the pool before for the Clubhouse feast!
