Thank you for another successful summer season, capped off with two wonderful events in the Men’s and Women’s Member-Guest tournaments this past month. While the golf year is far from over, we are always looking for ways to improve your experience here at the Club.
After receiving thoughtful feedback and having engaged and productive discussion with some of your fellow Members, we have decided to implement some new guidelines to assist tee management during our busiest morning hours. At the heart of this is encouraging a positive pace of play and, ultimately, making all Members’ experience on the golf course more enjoyable. These adjustments are meant to improve the flow in all areas of the game, from the range to the first tee, and, even onto the course.
From Wednesday through Sunday, roughly 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, you will notice a more active presence from our Golf Professionals and Outside Services staff. Their role will be to help direct the flow of play, including requiring Members to pair up with one another whenever possible. This small daily window is the only time we’ll be making these requests—outside of these hours, there will continue to be plenty of flexibility for singles and twosomes to enjoy the course at their own pace.
We’re grateful for your support, and we ask that you continue to listen to the guidance of our Golf Professionals and Outside Services team as they guide this process. Again, these adjustments are not about adding restrictions—they’re about creating a better pace of play and enhancing the overall experience for every Member.
