Mayacama Golf Club cordially invites you to compete in the 20th Annual Women’s Member-Guest Golf Tournament. Please keep this tournament information for your future reference.

FORMAT: This tournament will be a 36-hole two-person team event using the Stableford Point System:

• Day One Stableford Format – Two Person Scramble: Each partner tees off, the best drive is selected and each player plays from there and so on until the ball is holed.
  
• Day Two Stableford Format – (Four-Ball): Each partner plays her own ball and the highest net stableford points will be the side's points for the hole. Only one partner needs to complete the play of the hole.

In the Stableford Point System, players receive points per hole as follows:

• Net Double Bogey or Higher: 0 Points
  
• Net Bogey: 1 Point
  
• Net Par: 2 Points
  
• Net Birdie: 3 Points
  
• Net Eagle: 4 Points
  
• Net Double Eagle: 5 Points
  

HANDICAPS: The Tournament Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of September 6, 2023. Strokes will be distributed according to the Stroke Index on the scorecard. Maximum allowable Course Handicap is 36 strokes. The maximum handicap differential between partners is 10 strokes.

Handicaps used in Stableford Scramble: The partner with the lower course handicap receives 35% of her handicap. The partner with the higher course handicap receives 15% of her handicap. Combine the two percentages to determine the Team Handicap

• Handicaps uswed in Four-Ball Stableford: Each player will receive 95% of her course handicap.
  

TEAMS: Teams will be comprised of one Mayacama Member and one invited guest.
PAIRINGS: Teams will be paired based on handicaps unless otherwise requested. Pairings and hole assignments will be posted in the Golf Shop on Sunday, September 3, 2023, or as soon as the field and flights have been set by the Committee.

TEES: All players shall play from the Forward Tee Markers.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee for this Tournament is $900 per two-person team. The entry fee includes a complimentary practice round on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, guest fees for all tournament rounds, a welcome package, prizes, and all meals and functions listed on The Schedule of Events for you and your guest. Caddie fees are not included.

ENTRIES OPEN: Members will receive an e-mail entry in addition to a mailed invitation. Follow the link to register your team for the tournament. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be responsible for 100% of the entry.

PRIZES / CHAMPIONS: The field will be divided into flights based on the number of entries received. Each flight winner will receive their own commemorative award. The team with the most points will be designated Overall Champion and in addition to receiving their own commemorative award, their names will be displayed on the Champions' Board in the Clubhouse.

NON-TOURNAMENT PLAY: Non-tournament starting times will be limited. Please contact the Golf Shop for availability.
