Mayacama Golf Club cordially invites you to compete in the 15th playing of the Men's Senior Club Championship. Please keep this championship information for your future reference.

SENIOR DIVISION: Entries are open to Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club who have reached their fifty-fifth birthday by November 20, 2020. The player with the lowest gross score will be named the 2020 Men's Senior Club Champion. The player with the lowest net score will be named the 2020 Men's Senior Mayacama Flight Champion. The Senior Division shall be played from the Middle Tee markers. (71.5/138 - 6156 yards)

SUPER-SENIOR DIVISION: Entries are open to Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club who have reached their sixty-fifth birthday by November 20, 2020. The player with the lowest gross score will be named the 2020 Men's Super-Senior Club Champion. The player with the lowest net score will be named the 2020 Men's Super-Senior Mayacama Flight Champion. The Super Senior Division shall be played from the Senior Plates. (70.3/11 - 5927 yards)

CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: Stroke Play – 36 Holes (18 Holes Per Day)

HANDICAPS: The Championship Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of November 15, 2020.

PAIRINGS: First round pairings within each division will be made by a blind draw. Second round pairings will be made based on first round scores within each Flight. Information regarding Friday’s pairings, starting times, etc. will be posted in the Golf Shop approximately 48 hours prior to the start of the Championship. Pairings for Saturday’s final round will be posted in the Golf Shop after 4:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2020. It is the player’s responsibility to contact the Golf Shop at 707-569-2915 for this information.

STARTING TIMES: The starting times listed below are approximate and will be finalized once entries close and the field has been determined. The players shall start at the time set by the Championship Committee.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, November 20 – First Round
8:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Senior Division)
9:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Super Senior Division )

Saturday, November 21 – Second Round
8:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Senior Division)
9:00am – Starting on #1 Tee (Super Senior Division )

TIES: Ties for 1st place Gross and 1st Place Net in both the Senior and Super Senior Divisions will be decided by a sudden death playoff beginning on Hole #1. The playoff will begin immediately upon completion of score posting and when all scores have been certified by the committee. Ties for 1st Place Gross will be played at scratch. Players who are tied for 1st Place Net will receive strokes as they appear on the scorecard.

PRIZES: The Champions of all four divisions will receive their own Championship Cup and have their names engraved on the Mayacama Men’s Senior Club Championship Trophy, which is on permanent display in the Mayacama Clubhouse. All other prizes will be in the form of gift certificates.

ENTRY FEE:  The entry fee for this Championship is $100 per Member. Entry fees include all championship awards and Awards Reception following play on Saturday. Caddie fees are not included.

ENTRY FORMS/CLOSING: All entries must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance and no-shows will be responsible for 100% of the Entry Fee.

NON-CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY: Please contact the Golf Shop for available starting times.
