ENTRY FEE: $285/$570 | ENTRY OPENS: FEBRUARY 1, 2019
The St. Patrick’s Day Four-Ball kicks off our 2019 Golf Season! In this event, Members are ready to brave all weather conditions in order to celebrate another year of Golf and “All Things Irish” at Mayacama.
FORMAT: Four-Ball Stroke Play (better ball of two partners – 18 Holes). In Four-Ball Stroke Play, two competitors play as partners, each playing his/her own ball. The lower score of the two partners is the score for the hole. If one player fails to complete the play of a hole, there is no penalty.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Golf Members of Mayacama Golf Club. Please see Guests Section below.
GUESTS: Due to the popularity of this event we would like Members to have the priority in signing up first. Members who would like to play with a guest as their partner will be permitted to sign up on a space available basis beginning on Friday, February 16th.
TEAMS: Teams may be comprised of two Members. (Member and Guest entries will be accepted beginning on Friday, February 16th.)
HANDICAPS: Players will be allotted 90% of their respective Course Handicap. The Tournament Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of March 15, 2019.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $285 per person ($570 per team) and includes a Welcome Gift Package, all Tournament Prizes, Ali Shepherd Living Foundation donation*, Bagged Lunch, On-course Adult Beverages, and Traditional Irish Dinner & Festivities**. Caddie Fees and Guest Green Fees are not included.
*Ali Shepherd Living Foundation: Please note that $100 per person ($200 per team) of the above entry fee will be donated in loving memory to the Ali Shepherd Living Foundation. The Ali Shepherd Living Foundation provides funding for programs and organizations that aid the empowerment of young adults in order that they may maximize their quality of life and that of others.
**Traditional Irish Dinner & Festivities: Members wishing to bring additional guests for the Dinner & Festivities at $55++ per person will need to make advance reservations.
ENTRY CLOSING: The field will be limited to the first 40 two-person teams that submit their completed online entry.
