You are cordially invited you to participate in the Mayacama Member-Member Match Play Golf Tournament on Friday and Saturday, June 26 & 27. For the 2015 Member-Member, we will return to the 9-hole Match Play format so popular in our Men’s Member-Guest. The Member-Member is a great way to meet your fellow Members and enjoy 5 nine-hole matches with everyone in your flight. There will be lots to celebrate in the Member-Member ... food, wine, prizes, and getting together with your fellow Members to enjoy a fun and exciting better-ball match play tournament. Please take a look at the format below and feel free to call a member of your Professional Staff if you have any questions regarding this great tournament. We hope to see you there!

FORMAT
The format is Four-Ball Match Play (Better-Ball-of-Two) using 100% of your Course Handicap. Five 9-hole matches will be played within each flight. Scoring for these matches will be based on the following point system:

  • Hole Won:  1 Point
  • Hole Halved:  ½ Point
  • Maximum, Points per 9-Hole Match:  7 Points

The team accumulating the highest point total in each flight for the five matches will be declared the Flight Winner. The team with the second highest point total will be declared the Flight Runner-Up. Ties for Flight Champion and Flight Runner-Up will be broken by the results of earlier head-to-head matches between the tied teams.

FLIGHTS
The field will be divided into Flights based on the number of entries (Two Women’s Flights and Four Men’s Flights). The combined Course Handicaps of the two team Members will determine which flight the team will be assigned. Each Flight will consist of six teams. Play will be from the following tee markers:

  • Men’s Championship Division:  Back Tee Markers
  • Men’s Division:  Middle Tee Markers
  • Women’s Division:  Forward Tee Markers

OVERALL CHAMPION
The Overall Champion will be decided by the total number of points earned for the five 9-Hole Matches.

HANDICAP INFORMATION
Members MUST have an established current USGA Handicap Index to compete for net prizes. The Championship Committee will be using your current USGA Handicap Index as of June 15, 2015. Strokes for all matches will be distributed according to the Stroke Index on the scorecard. For players whose handicap is an odd number, ½ strokes will be given. (Example:  If a player has a handicap of 9 strokes, he/she will will receive a total of 4-½ strokes per nine-hole match.)  The maximum handicap differential between partners is 10 strokes.

RULES OF GOLF
Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association. Questions shall be settled by the Mayacama Golf Club Championship Committee, whose decision shall be final. Knowledge of and adherence to the Rules of Golf are integral parts of sportsmanship. Each contestant should place special emphasis on knowledge of the Rules of Golf, especially those concerning Match Play. (Rule 2)

ENTRY FEE
The Entry Fee for this Championship is $350 per player and includes all championship prizes, your commemorative welcome gift, and all meals and functions listed on the Schedule of Events. Caddie Fees are not included.

ENTRY CLOSING
All entry forms or online registrations must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 21, 2015.

• Click the REGISTER button.
• Click the QUESTIONS button to answer the questions.
• Add optional notes you would like to make to your booking. 
• Click REGISTER
• Print Confirmation and Close.
• Contact the Golf Shop at 707 569 2915 to confirm receipt of your entry.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and no-shows will be responsible for 100% of the Entry Fee.

NON-CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY
Non-championship starting times will be limited. Please contact the Golf Shop for availability.
